As the federal court judge struck down the 2024 Title IX regulations in their entirety, this means we will revert back to 2020 Title IX regulations, but any procedural aspects of the 2024 regulations may be implemented for better practice and mitigation. However, the definitions and substantive changes noted in 2024 no longer apply. In the meantime, the most significant 2024 changes that no longer apply are the definitions of what constitutes “sex”. These will no longer apply as a result of January's 2025 decision.

Based on the 2020 Regulations (the 2024 Final Rule having been repealed), this course provides essential knowledge and practical strategies for school boards and administrators to ensure compliance with Title IX and promote equitable educational environments. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of legal requirements, best practices for policy development, and effective response protocols for addressing discrimination and harassment.
