About NxU Education

nXu delivers best-in-class resources, development, and support to educators so that all students in schools across the country can lead thriving lives, driven by purpose and connected to a community. Our research-based model integrates 5 key developmental areas—purpose, identity, social-emotional wellness, social capital, & career exploration—into a single solution to support students in defining personal & professional pathways that align with their evolving sense of self.

nXu has designed a comprehensive youth development solution that places purpose at the center of SEL skill and identity development, community building and career exploration. We recognize that personal and professional fulfillment require more than academic preparation. Our 170+ lesson middle and high school Nexus Curriculum places purpose at the nexus of career exploration, social-emotional practices, identity development, and community building. Our curriculum helps all young people connect with who they are, explore who they want to become, and invest in pathways for personal and professional success. The integration of these often disconnected developmental areas helps all students to investigate and cultivate their purpose; develop roadmaps for personal and professional aspirations; practice habits that support CASEL-aligned social and emotional wellness; affirm who they are; and build effective, connected relationships.

We want what you want: transformational learning experiences for young people. In addition to introductory training and initial implementation support, our team offers ongoing curriculum guidance, observation-debrief, and instructional development to ensure educators can confidently and impactfully deliver our curriculum.

Our assessment system captures student development in key social-emotional constructs using validated measures. We partner with schools to capture and analyze this data, evaluating the impact of our curriculum and making implementation adjustments to meet students’ needs.
