What happens after a school collects the data? Assessment platforms, spreadsheets, and intervention programs provide information, but turning that information into coordinated action requires more than technology.
At Lotus School for Excellence, about 80% of middle school students performed below grade level in mathematics. Rather than adopting another program, leaders focused on diagnosing needs, building intervention capacity, and establishing consistent routines.
Follow the school's evolution from Google Sheets to an interconnected system of targeted interventions, progress monitoring, data meetings, student goal-setting, and adult accountability. Examine leadership decisions along the way, including how to prioritize students when resources are limited and when to adapt plans based on new evidence.
You'll also see how this work informed the development of Symphonize. Leave with a framework for identifying gaps between collecting data and taking coordinated action in your own school.
