- Assess their school’s unique safety needs using the Safe School Scorecard
- Plan targeted safety projects with realistic budgets and timelines
- Navigate grants successfully, including preparation for federal funding using the Federal Grant Readiness Checklist
- Strengthen emergency procedures and communication protocols using real-world examples
- Translate safety priorities into actionable, fundable initiatives

This session provides leaders with hands-on, actionable tools, real-life examples from diverse school settings, and strategies to connect with funders. Participants will leave ready to build a stronger safety culture, improve grant readiness, and confidently pursue funding that fits their school’s unique environment.
