Eric Hall

Eric is a seasoned litigator specializing in complex civil cases, including trials and appeals. His practice encompasses business litigation, constitutional law, school law, church law, and employment law. With extensive experience in both jury and bench trials, Eric has argued numerous cases before Colorado and federal appellate courts. Prior to joining Sparks Willson, he spent 18 years at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP. A Colorado native, Eric holds degrees from the College of William and Mary, St. John’s College, and Notre Dame Law School. He clerked for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and has been actively involved in various legal and community organizations, including the El Paso County Bar Association and the Federalist Society. He has also served on the Colorado Supreme Court Nominating Committee and co-founded Thomas MacLaren School, a highly regarded charter school in Colorado Springs.

Julie Petersen

Ms. Petersen joined the firm in 2020 from St. Louis, Missouri with extensive experience in product liability defense. Julie’s current practice focuses primarily on education law and the representation of nonprofits. She is also a member of the firm’s litigation department.
