Many families overlook school communication because they’re overwhelmed or because they don’t understand what they receive. This session teaches skills that strengthen access, engagement, efficiency, and trust with families and colleagues. Participants often describe the training as both surprisingly challenging and genuinely fun as they tackle the most common challenges, including:

- Families feeling excluded and uninformed when communication isn’t clear
- Long, complex messages that get ignored; overcommunication is a real problem
- How confusion erodes trust
- And why most people never say when they don’t understand you

Learn immediately actionable strategies to make written and spoken communication more concise, clear, readable, and translatable — without losing content, meaning, or tone.
