In today's dynamic workplace, charter school leaders face the challenge of managing four, distinct generations each with their own unique characteristics and needs. Delve into the attributes of each generation and how their differences can impact the workplace. We’ll explore how to leverage these differences to create a more inclusive and effective work environment. The session will also offer strategies for fostering open and respectful communication across generations and navigating potential challenges that may arise due to generational diversity.

Trina is the primary contact for “All things People” at the League, providing members with efficient, applicable and relevant talent development services and solutions in areas such as HR support and resources, talent acquisition, recruitment strategy, workforce planning, performance management, leadership development and succession planning. She collaborates with businesses, organizations, community members and universities to establish resources that can contribute to a school’s success with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.
“I believe charters promote a true educational partnership between the school, students, parents and community, meeting their needs and providing options and opportunities for the next generation. I am glad to disrupt, innovate, impact and make a difference,” says Trina.
Having worked in a diverse array of organizations from startups to international fortune 500’s, Trina has over 20 years of results-oriented, broad industry experience in over eight industries. The most magical was The Walt Disney Company and the most energizing was Vestas. She holds several HR certifications, including Myers Briggs and Gallup Certified StrengthsFinder Coach. Trina received her bachelor's of science degree from the University of Louisville in business administration/human resources and her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to the community and loves to travel, read, find new personal and professional projects, meet new people and spend time with family and friends, especially her niece and nephew.
