Meagan Gillcrist

Executive Director, AlignED

With over 14 years of experience in public education, Meagan has served as an instructional coach and special education program director, contributing to district improvement teams for Denver Public Schools, Strive Preparatory Schools, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In her current role, Meagan is dedicated to supporting the nationwide development of sustainable Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) practices, emphasizing implementation and improvement science. Her approach to continuous improvement centers on understanding the holistic needs of students and teachers, to enhance high-impact, low-burden adult practices. Through AlignED, she strives to assist school communities in adopting an implementation process that brings fulfillment back to the profession and supports ALL students.

Meredith Motley

Meredith began her journey at Colorado Skies as the sole special education teacher, where she established the program from the ground up. With a background in homeschooling, Meredith has firsthand experience in project-based learning, both as a student and a teacher. She has co-authored and published curriculum in various subjects, including project-based learning, reading and writing, and instructional techniques. For her Master’s Degree, she developed an executive functioning skills class and designed a student planner to help Colorado Skies students enhance their executive functioning abilities. As Campus Director, Meredith is dedicated to fostering a culture of honor, respect, and community within the school’s small, neurodiverse, and twice-exceptional learner population.

Christa Coryell

Christa is in her second year as ED at Colorado SKIES Academy (CSA). With over four years of experience leading CSA's board, she also brings a wealth of knowledge from a nearly two-decade career in corporate finance at IBM. But her commitment to education extends beyond her professional roles. She volunteers extensively with IBM, actively participates in her son's activities, and mentors high school students through the P-TECH program in the St. Vrain Valley School District. Christa co-chaired the Discover Engineering and Innovation Academy partnerships between IBM and local Boulder schools. She holds a MBA with a finance emphasis from Colorado State University and a BSe in Finance from Arizona State University.
