A pilot program at Pinnacle Charter School has implemented individualized co-teaching models for elementary, middle and high school, some of which support multi-language learners and students on an IEP. In addition to mapping out ongoing professional development and teacher coaching, we will share solutions to challenges such as high teacher burnout, low staffing and the ability of co-teachers to see eye-to-eye. Attendees will learn from Pinnacle’s experience how to gain administrative buy-in, support teachers, use data to drive class rosters, tweak master schedules and add-on to an existing teacher observation tool — all of which can expedite the implementation of a co-teaching model.
