Workshop Sessions

Charter school leaders face more improvement priorities than their teams can realistically pursue at once. And the evidence rarely points in one direction. How do you decide what matters most—and what to make room for?

This interactive workshop puts you inside a realistic charter school decision. Working with a fictional school's data, including achievement, attendance, student work, family feedback, and implementation, you'll weigh competing evidence and identify a priority worth pursuing.

Then comes the challenge: With just six hours of shared staff capacity to reallocate, decide what to advance, protect, or pause. When new data arrives six weeks later, determine whether to stay the course or adjust.

Apply the same process to your own school and leave with a completed decision sheet, a practical approach to monitoring progress, and a concrete next step for focusing staff effort.
