This interactive workshop will focus on how to move beyond the pushout mindset to create a whole team approach that supports the whole child. Using our recent expansion from 486 students to over 1,000 in a three-year period, our team will discuss the process of refining the MTSS Framework to maximize teachers, support staff, administration, parents, and the community while supporting students across the learning spectrum. Learn how New Vision Charter School moved from the compartmentalization of interventions to a whole-building approach that encompasses data-driven discussions, parent support, and community engagement. Participants will leave with the knowledge and inspiration to build strong team data discussion protocols, sample data tracking tools and MTSS Framework flowcharts while shifting mindsets and gaining collective efficacy.
