Workshop Sessions
What really happens inside an AI chatbot—and why do bias, hallucinations, and data risks occur? Find out by stepping inside the AI “black box” in this engaging, interactive workshop.
Through lighthearted scripts and audience roleplay, volunteers will bring an AI chatbot's inner workings to life, creating memorable “Aha!” moments about how these tools operate and where risks come from. Build on that understanding with a look at AI model training and how AI generates text, images, and videos.
Armed with a practical, tool-agnostic safety lens, learn to evaluate the AI tools your school uses today critically—and those it may consider tomorrow. Then put your learning into action by drafting starter elements for new AI guidelines or strengthening existing documents to make them more actionable.
Leave better equipped to evaluate tools and guide responsible AI use.
