The merging of two charter school networks into one unified, high-performing system in Denver has been historic, challenging and incredibly rewarding. Walk through the conditions that set the stage for the merger, how the network has both prioritized rapid academic improvement and achieved seat growth in year-one despite rapidly declining enrollment in the market. Workshop participants will hear about some of the toughest challenges and decision points and walk away with lessons that can be applied to their own contexts regardless of their roles.
