What I Do For Charter Schools
(How Charter Schools Will Know Me)
My job’s  purpose is to offer our members efficient, applicable and relevant Talent Development services and solutions in HR Support and Resources, Talent Acquisition (Recruitment Strategy), Workforce Planning, Leadership Development, Diversity & Inclusion and Succession Planning to name a few. I will be the League's primary contact for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative and will facilitate and coordinate resources and expertise that will contribute to greater diversity, equity, and inclusion within the charter school movement.  I will collaborate with businesses, organizations, community members and universities, to partner and establish a future pipeline of educators.  My focus and approach for CLCS Talent Development Department is to ensure we will always be solutions oriented and provide relevant talent development opportunities to the membership, while keeping a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion in all that we do.  
On Charter Public Schools

Growing up, I attended a traditional public school. I first learned about charter public schools five years ago when my niece began school. I soon came to understand the importance of charter public schools in Colorado's educational landscape. Charters provide families choices and quality in education.  There is so much diversity in charter education offerings. I believe charters promote a true educational partnership between students, parents, and school s while meeting the needs of diverse learners and providing options for generations to come. I am glad to do my part and make a difference. 



I received my bachelor's of science degree from the University of Louisville in Business Administration/Human Resources and my MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. I bring over 20 years of energetic leadership, results oriented, in-depth knowledge of Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training and Talent Management & Development.  I have worked in diverse array of organizations from startups to international Fortune 500’s and I have  broad industry experience in  Insurance, Hospitality/Entertainment, Academia, Energy and Technology working for The Travelers/Liberty Mutual, The Walt Disney Company, University of Phoenix, Vestas, Ecolab and CoreSite. My specialization includes HR business partnering, Management/Leadership development and coaching, Talent Acquisition and Development, and Diversity and Inclusion. I hold several HR certifications including Myers Briggs and a Gallup Certified Strength Finder Coach.  In my spare time, I enjoy giving back to the community through volunteer work at organizations such as the Denver Rescue Mission, Susan B. Komen and mentoring. I love to travel, read, and find new personal and professional projects, meeting new people and spending time with family and friends, especially my niece and nephew.
