Planning Grants for Starting a Charter School in Colorado

Whether you are in the earliest stages of starting a charter school in Colorado, have been approved and working towards opening your doors or are somewhere in between, the League offers small, incremental planning grants to address your new school development needs at every stage! The League’s planning grants are designed to align with the process of writing your charter application and are made possible thanks to the generous philanthropic support that the League receives from the Daniels Fund. The funding available to schools is limited to the amounts received by the League.

These grants enable groups to hire consultants, retain professionals, rent community space for meetings, create marketing materials, conduct research, travel to model schools, attend trainings, and conduct outreach.

Later stages of charter application writing - Do you need funds to continue your outreach efforts, acquire the League’s extensive two-part application review, edit or put the finishing touches on your application? There are planning grants for that, too!
