Celebrating Quality Charter Schools - Thursday
Share |

This week, we are celebrating National Charter Schools Week (NCSW)! During National Charter Schools Week, the League will celebrate our charter school community. Our intention is to elevate the voices of charter school teachers while bringing awareness to others that charter schools are an important part of the public school landscape in Colorado.

Below, you will find resources created by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools that will help your efforts to increase awareness that charter schools are public schools dedicated to improving our nation’s public education systems.

Today, Thursday, May 16, we celebrate all the unique charter schools and their communities across Colorado. Learn more below.

Social Media

If you haven't yet, make sure you like and follow the League's Facebook page and Twitter page. Tweet and share out your school posts during National Charter Schools Week and tag us. Please use the hashtag #celebratecharters and #CharterSchoolsWeek.

Celebrating Charter School Teachers

Last week, we celebrated and recognized the thousands of charter school teachers that educate and inspire their students daily. Click here to see all the teachers nominated during the week. One teacher walked away with a $250 travel voucher from EF Tours.

Videos of the Charter School Community

The League visited a number of charter schools to videotape their charter school staff and students to bring awareness and education about the unique charter schools across the state and how they serve our students. Check them out below. Be sure to share them on your school's social media channels so we can reach a larger audience across the state.
