Ascent Classical Academy of Douglas County seeks a part-time Health Technician and a part-time Health Aide for its growing campus in Lone Tree, Colorado, in the south metropolitan Denver area. Ascent Classical Academies are dedicated to the intellectual and moral betterment of our students and encourage administrators, teachers, and staff to take their own moral and intellectual improvement seriously as part of a supportive and excellence-driven culture.
The health technician works closely with the school nurse consultant to provide appropriate care for ill or injured students, complete clerical tasks related to such incidents, and communicate regarding incidents with parents. The health technician oversees the care of students with medical considerations and is also responsible for communicating students’ essential medical information to teachers. The health aide supports the administrative tasks of the health office, working under the supervision of the health technician.

Desired Start Date: Immediately
Compensation Range and Particulars: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour for health technician, depending on experience and qualifications; $17.50-$19.00 per hour for health aide, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule and Classification: Part-Time (approximately 16-18 hours a week)

Job Requirements:

High school diploma with associate's degree preferred

Experience in the medical field or school nursing.
