Our passionate and steadfast Upper School team is looking for a colleague who will join in the collaborative work with faculty, staff, and parents/caregivers to guide our 8th Grade class through the 2023-2024 school year. This position has the possibility to carry over to the permanent Upper/Middle School Lead Teacher position in the 2024-25 school year. 

The ideal candidate has experience teaching students within an inclusive, safe, and respectful learning environment and a strong interest in offering Public Waldorf education. A Colorado teaching license and Waldorf teacher training or certifications are highly desired. At minimum the candidate will meet the “in-field” guidelines set forth in the Colorado state ESSA plan, by meeting at least one of the following requirements (1) endorsement on a Colorado teaching license; (2) holding at least a BA or higher in the relevant subject area; (3) completing 36 semester credit hours in the subject matter in which they teach; or (4) passing a State Board approved content exam in the relevant subject area. 

The ideal candidate will also have the desire to complete or have completed Waldorf Grades Teacher training and/or have experience teaching in a school using the Waldorf methodology, meet teacher requirements under ESSA, and seek to carry and nurture a class for many years.
