Colorado Children's Campaign Annual Luncheon

Presented by Children's Hospital Colorado

Time: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Location: The Seawell Grand Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, 1101 13th Street, Denver
Cost: Individual $125; Social Table for 10 Guests $1250
This Luncheon brings together nearly 800 community and business leaders, child advocates and elected officials from across Colorado to focus on an issue affecting kids and to hear from a nationally-recognized leader. Year after year, the Luncheon has featured engaging and politically relevant speakers like Geoffrey Canada, Marian Wright Edelman, Carlotta Walls LaNier and Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, whose thoughts and ideas have promoted important and continued community conversation, and this year’s event will too.

As the Children’s Campaign marks our 30th Anniversary, our theme is “What Do You Do with an Idea,” which is based on the award-winning children’s book by Kobi Yamada  in which  a child nurtures a fragile idea through ups and downs. We’re looking forward to having our guests with us to explore nurturing ideas to change the worlds of kids. Our featured guest is John Wood, former global Microsoft executive and internationally-recognized child advocate whose organization, Room to Read, has benefited more than 9 million children in some of the lowest-income places in the world.
