Participants in this session will explore the deeper learning competencies and the instructional practices that support students to regularly engage in critical thinking and problem solving, effective communication, collaboration skills, and self-directed learning. Participants will examine high quality lessons and practice creating their own lesson plan that they can use immediately in their own classroom.

Cost:  $175 members | $225 non-members 
Meals: A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Description: Students who regularly engage in deeper learning experiences will have the opportunity to develop competencies such as critical thinking and problem solving, effective communication, collaboration skills, and self-directed learning.  Participants in this session will explore the deeper learning competencies and the instructional practices that support students to regularly engage in this type of learning. They will examine high quality lessons and practice creating their own lesson plan that they can use immediately in their own classroom.

Registration Deadline: Friday, March 13. Event is contingent on a minimum of 6 registrants.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made on or before the registration deadline will be refunded in full. Unfortunately, cancellations made after the registration deadline will not be refunded.
