School Performance & Accountability Manager
What I Do For Charter Schools
(How Charter Schools Will Know Me)
I connect schools to resources, service providers, data, professional development and technical assistance so that they may build high-quality strategies to utilize systems that gather, organize, analyze, report, and share information about student and school performance. In addition, I help schools understand state and federal accountability (i.e. the School Performance Frameworks), assessments (use and interpretation of state and local assessments), the implications of policy on practice and increase understanding and completion of the Unified Improvement Plan (UIP) to drive school improvement practices.
On Charter Public Schools
I strongly believe in charter schools and the League’s mission of helping charters improve student achievement and expand high-quality public school choice so that all students in Colorado can attend great schools and succeed.
Prior to joining the league, I worked at The Evaluation Center at the University of Colorado in Denver researching and evaluating classroom practices with several state and national partners such as the Public Education Business Coalition and National Science Foundation. When not working at the League, I enjoy baking, reading, spending time outdoors in our beautiful state, exercising including boot camp and kick boxing classes, as well as spending time with my family. I earned my M.A. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in research and evaluation from the University of Colorado at Denver and I have a strong background in program management.
