Description: A well-trained threat assessment team--administrator, mental health provider and law enforcement professional--is a vital part of a comprehensive safe schools’ effort. This workshop reviews the lessons learned from research, the Colorado School Safety Resource Center’s “Essentials of Threat Assessment” guide and sample tools from schools in Colorado. Discussions of actual scenarios will be included. Your team will walk away ready to conduct threat assessments in your school. 

Presenters: Anna Gisetti MA, is a former school counselor and the School Outreach Consultant for
the Colorado School Safety Resource Center.  Brad Stiles MA, is a former law enforcement officer with a degree in emergency management and is the Emergency Response Outreach Consultant for the Colorado School Safety Resource Center.
