Description: If you’ve ever experienced a wasted school technology investment, this presentation is for you. We will look at how the typical technology selection process in a school can lead to expensive and painful problems and how to do it better. The session will cover:
·         Technology’s role in a well-developed student
·         What an effective technology selection process looks like
·         How to face the challenges and pressures from PARCC and other factors
·         Ways to avoid common procurement pitfalls
From wiring new facilities to enhancing technology for existing classrooms, lessons learned in this presentation will allow any administrator to have a greater impact on each technology request that comes across their desk. It’s the need-to-know information that school leaders must have to be effective in their positions.
