Description: Interested in offering an approved teacher induction program at your school? Join us for a webinar to learn more about the CDE application process, program planning, and implementation.  

Participants will learn how to create an onsite induction program to support and retain your new teachers.  We recognize that new teachers face a multitude of challenges their first year on the job and believe charter schools can reduce this stress by providing a customized induction program with an onsite mentor.  Teacher training and retention is an increasingly relevant issue as school leaders face a reduced number of teacher candidates in Colorado.

In this webinar, participants will learn to navigate the CDE application process for an approved teacher induction program, as well as hear from about the real-life successes and challenges one school encountered in their first two years of running an onsite induction program.
