Hosted by EF Education First
Dates: Sunday, June 19 - Monday, June 27
Location: Finland and The Hague
Description: EF Education First is pleased to announce its 2016 Professional Learning Scholarship to Finland and The Hague (June 19-27). Open to educators working with grades 9-12, this FULL travel scholarship offers the opportunity to explore the Finnish education system through workshops led by the Finnish National Board of Education, the University of Helsinki, and visiting several Finnish schools. In addition, the program culminates at The Hague, Netherlands, with the Global Student Leaders Summit focused on Human Rights where educators will not only see students developing solutions to real-world issues around this topic but will also hear from keynote speakers Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl Wudunn, Pulitzer Prize winning journalists and human rights activists.
This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with educators from around the country and includes round-trip airfare, transportation, hotel accommodations, two meals daily, entrances to attractions, a full-time tour director, local guides, and the leadership conference.
