Tech Talk Quarterly
Opportunities to Engage School IT Leaders

The Colorado League of Charter Schools is a non-profit, membership organization dedicated to supporting all charter schools in the state (223 in 2015-16). The League is committed to helping these schools reach higher levels of student performance and overall success by providing information and resources, including technical support, advocacy, public relations assistance, and much more. Since 1994, when the League was founded, the organization’s annual membership has consistently represented over 95% of the state’s charter schools. Today, nearly 101,000 students attend Colorado charter schools, representing just shy of 13% of the total K-12 public school enrollment in the state.

The Tech Talk Quarterly Meetings will enable charter school technology personnel to regularly network and share best practices with one another.  The League will host, facilitate and coordinate these quarterly meetings in an effort to learn about, and then provide, the resources and tools needed by schools to:

1) Develop effective technology plans for their organizations;

2) Develop efficient and cost-effective methods of implementation; and

3) Maximize the performance of technology in growing student achievement levels.

Colorado charter schools value resources and referrals provided by the League and the Tech Talk Quarterly Meetings will become an integral point of reference for many charter school technology managers when they are looking to integrate technology into their school programs.
