About E-Rate
The E-Rate program is an annual federal program that public schools qualify for to receive up to 90% reimbursement for technology connectivity expenditures.

Funding may be requested under two separate categories as follows; Category One (C1) includes network services such as Telecommunications Services, managed services (VOIP), and Internet Access. Category Two (C2) includes Internal Connections (eligible IT assets), Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections and broadband/Wi-Fi network outsourced management.

Discounts range from 20 percent to 90 percent of the costs of eligible services and your school's eligible discount rate is based on the level of poverty among your student enrollment and whether or not it is located in an urban versus rural area.
